Ranveer, Deepika to get married in Italy?

Heard this? Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, one of the hottest couples of Bollywood who mesmerized the audience with their performance in Padmaavat, are all set to follow in the footsteps of Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli and go for a destination wedding in Italy. Insiders reveal that Deepika Padukone does not want media glare and hence may go for a destination wedding outside the country.

Of course, Ranveer Singh is associated with Switzerland as ambassador and the tourism department was interested too, but the power couple decided in favour of Italy. Here is what a source told a daily in this regard.

"Ranveer and Deepika are getting married this November. The preparations have begun and they could in all probability have a destination wedding in Italy."

"Deepika and Ranveer don't want excessive media glare on their marriage. Earlier on, there was talk that the Switzerland government was keen to host their wedding. Ranveer is the brand ambassador for Swiss Tourism. So, a section of the media kept this theory alive. However, now we hear that the superstar couple wants an exotic location for their D-Day and this time around, the Italian government, too, has shown interest in their marriage."

It may be recalled that Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli too had opted for Italy to avoid media glare and had even kept the news secret till the marriage. Even Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra preferred Italy for their wedding.
