Mohanlal starrer Lucifer is continuing to do well at the box office. After a thunderous start, the film has maintained its momentum as fans of the star continue to show their love towards the film.
A few days ago Mohanlal had tweeted, “In just 8 days, #Lucifer is in the coveted 100 crores club. This is truly humbling. As a result of your unwavering support, Malayalam Film Industry is being launched into uncharted territories. Well done @PrithviOfficial and Team L!”
Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh had also tweeted earlier, “#Lucifer has emerged a trendsetter for #Malayalam films internationally… Earlier, #Malayalam films would record big numbers in certain markets [UAE-GCC in particular], but #Lucifer is doing exceptional biz everywhere, despite other language movies posing tough competition…”

Ant-Man and the Wasp new teaser: Scott Lang boasts about being an Avenger

Marvel has released a new Ant-Man and the Wasp TV spot and we got a bit of new footage. The MCU film continues the story of the former petty thief and now-superhero Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lily), who will be seen as Wasp in the sequel. The two tiny superheroes are supposed to go in search of Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) who is lost in the Quantum Realm. Hank Pym and Dyne were the original Ant-Man and the Wasp. The party-pooper is Ghost, played by Hannah John-Kamen. In the comics, Ghost is a male and mostly an Iron Man villain. The powers, however, of both versions seem similar – intangibility and invisibility – even if the origin of those powers is different. In the film, Ghost steals Pym’s technology to gain those powers. Emma Thompson says she was always paid less than her male colleagues. The 59-year-old actor-writer said women are still treated as “second-class citizens”. She also advocated to publish salaries to reveal the gender pay gap. “I was always paid less than my male counterparts. Publishing figures is the first step. “It’s a forensic way of looking at how women are second-class citizens, and I appreciate that because it’s not emotional. This is the fact: this person does the same work for less money, and that’s just wrong,” Thompson told Good Housekeeping magazine.
